Week 6 Part A: Engaging Your Customers - Facebook Strategy

 Bella Dona

I chose this business because I like how they are very empowering towards women. This is a brand I have been following for a couple of years and I have seent them grow throughout the years. They are very active on Facebook, they post about 10 postings per month. They seem to be engaging with their customers in comments and postings. They post pictures mostly once in awhile a video of new items being sent out for packing. 

Fenty Beauty

I chose Fenty Beauty because of the success they have had recently. This brand is women owned and it it is very inclusive. They active on Facebook, they mainly post pictures of their products and of course of Rhianna using her products. I see models of different ethnicities in the pictures which I love. I noticed they haven't posted anything since the Super Bowl. 

Que Chula Brand

This is a brand from a girl I meet in San Diego. I chose her because I have seen her grow within the past couple of years. I like how she advertises her products. She seems to be positing pictures of her products and certain things in her personal life. She is very active on Facebook keeping her followers updated on her new items and things she is working on. This business is active with the engagement of her followers they comment and she replies and likes their comments. 

Sephora 

I chose Sephora because they are another well-known cosmetic retailer in the US, is very similar to Ulta. However, after going through their page I noticed a bit of a difference. Sephora posts videos with hacks, and how to use their products. The promote their products by showing videos on how they work.

Mac Cosmetics 

Mac cosmetics is very well known worldwide. I love how they have their displays whenever I'd go shopping. Their Facebook page is mostly videos of artist using their products. They use lots of artist and influencers to promote them. They have millions of followers but I also notice they seem to post about once or twice a month. I noticed they don't interact much with their community they just post and people comment but i haven't seen a reply from MAC


ULTA

I chose Ulta because they are the biggest beauty retailer in the US. I figured why not use some of their techniques they do on social media. Ulta uses lots of videos to promote their products. They also have a podcast in where they talk about their newest products or they new trends. They do have lots of engagemnt with their customers. Looking at the comments I see they are very ineractive with them.
